I got a little time before i got to shower and get to work and then to practice. So anyways, looked over some of my older posts just to see what life was like a year ago. One thing i noticed right away was "The Fragment's Of What's Left" was supose to be a more mass produced demo, but just never got to that stage. Maybe it's a good thing, not that the Azrael Slain demos have gotten much more attention due to my work computer breaking down and till i get a new one, can't record or work with Reason or Acid Pro. I had a electronic Drumkit in which i now need to go get replacment mesh heads for, which i got back due to the fact now that I'm in a apartment, no playing acoustic drums, more or less room for them. So for home creation I'm limited to Acoustic Guitar and Electronic drumset, which i want to try out Battery 2 with and see if that works out. Since i got it back, my computer had died before hand, so now i loaned out my Tascam interface to Steve Schmitt, which we had enough material for a album, but right at the end where it got to getting 500 blank discs and jewel cases, shit went sour and the project i recorded for multiple months went down the drain. There is a possiblity it gets finished and i start working with him again, but we'll see how shit goes.
Tonight i do the Kreatures of Kaos thing and begin working on our first song i worte just a month ago about how things came to the point of me coming back to Owatonna. This songs is a ode to my former landlord, which i still work for and we're cool again for now, but i had to get the anger off my chest since it was the 3rd to last night at the house and it was the last time i was going to be able to do any screaming. It's a track called "House Flooded in Alcohol". So far I've made 4 whole songs to work with the other 2 guys i got to make live. I got to go to practice and get my tracks ripped off a storage drive that my other guy has since my shit went down. Then i'll hopefully come home not too tired and make a new email account and get a Kreatures of Kaos Myspace thing going to i guess anyone reading this can dig on what i got. We've also been learning covers. Because of the area we're in, in order to play in bars, got to learn covers for the drunks, so we're attempting to come to acceptance on what to cover. So far me and Kevin Have been learning the new Torture Killer album with Chris Barnes. Kevin's a big Six Feet Under dude who likes alot of Pantera and Pungent Stench. He's got a punk band of sorts in Neeah Wisconsin called "Rottonhed". They do the Myspace thing as well. 4 or 5 drunk wisconsin dudes doing badly made chaos, but they have a blast doing it and laugh like hell about it for months afterwards. I cleaned up some of thier tracks they got on myspace and had to edit one of them for bad content ("them fighten words"). Anyways, along with that there was another friend of mine that i was going to help with his acoutic project, but i don't know anymore, i guess ill wait and see. So Ive been busy working on alot of everything. Computer dying really hampers things but in the meantime, got shit to work on with Metal band to get that up and running and playing live. Such a long hard road and i don't know why i sometimes walk it. But i guess I'm begining to walk it, lets knock on wood and hope it stays that way.
