EDIT: I forgot that i didn't post in my lj about this, only on myspace thingy for some reason - thanks Sue for pointing it out. Here's the blurb that explains what follows:
"Today because of the storm my school lost power so I was sent home. I had to walk a while in side streets to get to a bus stop when a para-transpo bus pulled up beside me and offered me a ride. I got on and told him I was heading downtown and he said he was headed to Elgin, so it worked out nicely. Saved me loads of time of transit. I memorized the bus number and emailed OC Transpo to tell them about it. Figured it was the right thing to do.
I can't think of anything else to say. The end." (Feb 17th)
Yay, OC transpo wrote back :D
Thank you for your e-mail and taking the time to send us your positive comments.
We have forwarded your inspiring message to the Supervisor of Admin & Customer
Service for Para-Transpo so that she may inform the driver's supervisory staff
of this encouraging incident.
We trust this proves to be favourable, and once again, we appreciate hearing
from you.
Sincerely,
Linda

I hope he gets a raise!
