the year in review (albeit briefly)
i can't really think of a good way to sum up the year so i'll just dive right in...
getting too see psychic tv, skinny puppy, ministry, and *finally* my life with the thrill kill kult all in one year? !!!!!!!!!!!! lady j p-orridge dying was the worst reality to swallow about the year... i still feel so bad about it and i only ever talked to her once.
experienced alex grey's gallery chapel of sacred mirrors for the first time... seeing his paintings all together in one space was the equivalent of having the sun stare back at you. they should offer sunglasses at the door.
out of state visits included a week in arizona (summer) and arkansas (winter) and a couple weekend get aways to nyc and ithaca, ny (new years eve). seeing my "god" children ezra and elden gives me a semi perma-grin.
wish i had more going on musically... school is a beast. philadelphia is a wasteland. maybe someday eden will kick its ass.
all in all i feel good turning 30.
