Wow, a post!
Alright, it's been forever, hasn't it? I'd say I'll try to do better and whatnot, but I probably won't, but here's an update on the goings-on as of late.
Moved into the house in Mesa in November, and loving it. Have spent a lot of time fixing the place up - with custom lighting (all thanks to Tal for those), and painting, and all that. Still have lots to paint, but the motivation is somewhat lacking. Have the whole entry/living room/dining room/hallway area done, as well as my bedroom. I've *bought* the paint for the kitchen, but haven't done it yet. It's looking totally killer. For those who haven't seen it, it's a must-see!
New years eve was kinda crappy for me - ruined by having to take my little one in to the emergency vet clinic because he was puking and was dehydrated. Turns out, 1 abdominal/intestional surgery later, the little fucker ate a dryer sheet. So that was a chunk of aggrivation (and money) to get the damn thing out of him. Had I not made the decision on surgery, he'd have most definately died, as it was blocking his intestines. But, as it turns out, I caught it fast enough, so there were no secondary complications, and all went smoothly. He's doing great now - back to his mischevious little self! Oh, he DID look really cute with a shaved belly - HAHA.
All's going good with work. Nothing too much to report there. The commute to work is much better from this side of town. Usually I try to avoid the 101/202 interchange as it sucks ass. Usually I bail out and drive on the Indian Reservation to save some time. When the 202 connects down I'll be happier too - that will cut some time off the trek for me.
On the pool front, I've got the permit, and it should be starting in about a week! I can't wait to go to work one day and come home to a big hole in the back yard! Assuming all goes perfectly on schedule (it won't, I know), but the end-date is the end of March. So basically, figure early/mid April for swimming - I can't wait! And yes, for those who don't know, it's gonna be heated! *Grin* I have no clue how to post pictures in here, but if I figure it out and get motivated, perhaps I'll create an entry with some pictures. I do have a plot layout scanned in. So if you know how to do pictures in here, I'll happilly take instructions.
That's about it for now, just having a lazy Saturday, although I'm doing some laundry and cleaning. Until next time...
