Home again. After a night at the hospital for observation, talking to the police and getting Hewie checked out by a vet (and a decent change of clothes) there's little else to do except wait for news from the search parties. I honestly don't know if there'll be anything for them to find.

I know I should have expected it, but the place seems a lot bigger and emptier now.

Too tired for anything else. I'll worry about in the morning.
