Tick tock.
Eunhyuk frowned as he glanced over at the clock for the nth time. Confused on why his husband had always seemed to arrive later each day. The time they spent together shortened each second and the redhead was worried. They were beginning to stumble on a thread.
However, soon his feelings were reassured as he heard the click of the door and sliding into the living room, Eunhyuk smiled seeing his exhausted husband. “Welcome home~” He piped quite happily as the other lazily nodded, simply throwing his coat on one of the many coaches before proceeding to get himself some water for his aching headache. The male was always stable even when drunk and Eunhyuk quietly waited for Donghae to finish his drink before waddling his way towards him. His arms carefully thrown over his shoulders before he leaned, pecking his lips tenderly.

“Oh, look who it is.” Himchan held back the use of sarcasm as he shinned one of his charming smiles to the annoyed male.
“I'm only five minutes late, cut me some slack.” Yongguk growled back. Already regretting leaving his club as he walked passed the blonde and headed straight for the kitchen. Their usual routine of bickering nothing really new to him as he searched for a cup. “I made pasta.” He could hear the faint voice of Himchan’s and glanced over at the stove. The view of the said dish welcoming him, however, as always he ignored it. “Not really hungry. The guys forced a buffet down my throat.” He simply explained, reaching for the glass of water as Himchan frowned.
Of course. When was the last time they actually ate together?

And thus the story begins.
"You expect me to go to a marriage counselor?" Yongguk growled, his eyes piercing holes in his wife as Himchan sighed and glanced over at their television, the view of many different military men welcoming him. Gun shoots, murders, all re-playing or playing but nothing was new to him as he knew his husband was a fan over every single 'decent' war movie. "Youngjae expects you to." He finally responded. "The rest of the group are also annoyed with our bickering..."

Donghae couldn’t believe it. He simply couldn’t. Out of all the things he could be doing, he was currently stuck here. Business needed him, he needed to tend to his meetings, finish his documents, there was absolutely no time in his schedule to be goofing around but yet he was here, listening to - his eyes glanced at the old man, a smile curving the male's lips at the presence of the new couple - a marriage counselor.
“In marriage there are many obstacles. Trouble seeks us, however, we can push those clouds away and allow the brightness from our hidden sunshine to enter. Though that can only be caused by determination. By love and by support.” Mr. Yang explained, eyes focused deeply on Donghae and then on Eunhyuk. His fingers knotted just under his chin as both could see the way his hands trembled, signifying his age.
“That’s nice to know but do you mind if you hurry this up? I do in fact have a business to run.” Donghae explained rather bluntly and Eunhyuk scoffed, completely stunned by the ignorant demand. Though he didn’t waste his breath on it and Mr. Yang chuckled softly. Surprisingly composed at the eager patient. “First, I would need to ask both of you some personal questions. If you guys are uncomfortable with a said question, please don’t hesitate to skip them.” He explained seriously, eyes now scanning the file in front of him. His pen being fiddled with as he stared for quite some time, silence looming over the three, before he finally decided to start.
“How long have you guys been married?”
Donghae sighed, already sensing the complete waste of time and looked over at Eunhyuk. Was it 4 years or 5? He didn’t pay attention to those kind-of stuff, to him there were far more important dates he had to remember.
“7 years and 4 months.” Eunhyuk finally responded. He knew his husband didn’t know the answer, the way the boy glimpsed at him told him so, it was also the explanation to why they haven't celebrated any of their anniversaries together for quite some time.
“Hmm, and do you have any children?”
Eunhyuk blinked at the thought. Children, it'd nice and that was something both of them could agree on. “Not yet.” He heard the voice of the male beside him and nodded, agreeing. His focus locked on their counselor, trying to read the man's facial expressions.
And Mr. Yang nodded, poker-faced. The sounds of his scribbles filling the tensed up room (in Eunhyuk's case) as the couple anticipated for the next few questions. "And sex? How frequently have you guys done it?"
The question got Eunhyuk off surprise as he cursed his mind for being flustered. How was he supposed to answer such a personal, not to mention completely embarrassing question like that? However, before he could manage to slip out the words 'next', Donghae interrupted. His face reflecting the old man's pokerface, "these days, rarely. Business takes up too much time and my wife isn't fond of having sex twenty-four-seven."
And Eunhyuk blushed. Completely speechless at his husband's response.

"The pink shirt looks better on you," Himchan pouted. His eyes scanning down his husband's body as he blankly watched the other lazily button up his shirt. Yongguk's attention on the body-length mirror in front as he rolled his eyes. His wife always enjoyed becoming a stylist and simply ignored the other's presence. He preferred the red one and that was that.
"Why did I bother?" Himchan whispered afterwards, holding himself back from sulking as he exited the bedroom. Yongguk never enjoyed listening to his words anyway, the male always did something the opposite and the blonde-hair boy grumbled. His eyes glancing down at the little business card in his hands.
Mr. Yang.
He frowned. The thought of seeking help for their marriage by some unknown stranger ... was just -- his frown widened at the thought.
Hopefully Youngjae's advice was going to be successful...
"I'm ready, let's go." The voice of his husband bought back his attention to reality as Himchan turned around and nodded. Grabbing his coat, he then followed the other out the door.

"That's enough of the couple questions," Mr. Yang finally stated. His folder being closed and placed just upon his other similar files as he could hear the content sighs and grinned. His body finally rising from his leather chair as he walked in front of his desk and leaned against it. Standing just in front of the confused couple. "Now its all individual. Both of you will be given a sort of examination. All information will be hidden from your partner until further notices. If you are here to tend and piece back your marriage, I suggest all questions be answered with nothing but honesty." He explained. His smile still curved up his lips
"This information will be private from all but me. I will only be authorized to it, so you don't have to worry about anything going public. Unless, once again further notices are provided. Also, questions may or may not be the exact same from your partner. Each examination is specifically created for each partner. If you are uncomfortable with a question, you may skip it, however, it'll be more helpful for you and I if you didn't and ..." He paused, glancing around in thoughts before his smile re-appeared
"That is all. There is no time-limit. Take all the time you want. My secretary will bring you the exam and I will also leave you to your test, so you don't need to get tensed or distracted by my presence. If there is a question, you can find me either in the next room or down the hallway and Eunhyuk-ssi," He glanced over at the curious male. "Examinations are done separately, so I unfortunately have to ask you if you don't mind to move to the next room."
"Oh," Eunhyuk looked at Donghae, who blankly looked back and nodded. "Of course."
"Great, then follow me." Mr. Yang simply waved his hand before he went towards the door. The little redhead following behind before he was lead to the room a few doors down. "Please do take a seat, your exam will be bought to you soon,"
And Eunhyuk nodded once more before entering the room, not noticing the rather big smile on Mr. Yang's face as the old man vanished down the hallway. His eyes searching for a certain door.
"Now, onto my next couple."
A//N: Hooolymoly. How is everyone doing on LiveJournal? Most of you probably forgot me anyways. Lmfao, anyhow as always I will begin my rant with a 'I'M SOOO SORRY', I know I disappear quite a lot but ... I'm truly innocent. Nonetheless, how's the chapter? Really focusing on this story because I created soo many ideas and its killing me inside. Yes, this one was mostly around le precious Eunhae, but next chapter will certainly be around Banghim. I also think I rushed into the whole marriage counselor part but I wasn't really sure on how to properly do it, so ... dihddnkm, I hope you guys aren't confused. Anyhow, comments are loved as usual!~ And I reeeaallly love all of you guys. =)
