an interesting... day i should say...
so today has been an interesting day making $60/hr... i guess entertainment can be found in many places...
so todays enjoyment has been provided by someone sitting in our parking lot, in a shopping cart, in the rain, making a little tent with his jacket to read a book while hiding under this jacket, in the POORING rain... he did this for over 2 hours till our mgr went out, gave him a couple of garbage bags to keep dry, and asked him to leave the property...
then around 3:45pm i am sitting here taking a call when i here a couple of really loud bangs... i look out the window to see smoke rising from the hood of a blue ford taurus station wagon that has gone through our parking lot, bounced off the wall of windsor plywood (accross the street), and then managed to smoke the hydro pole at then end of their parking lot.. not only destroying the car, but breaking the hydro pole... the hydro pole is now resting @ a 45 angle, resting only on the power line that it fell on... so we have one dead car, one dead hydro pole (that they are now trying to take down), a HUGE dent in the windsor plywood building, and one shaken up old lady...
anyways back to work i go...
a little nervous about tommorow... i have to write my final theory and practical for my 'building cisco remote access networks' course... did a dry run of the practical on thursday, no one got it working (i had 80% of it working, the ISDN back up was being funky), did it again today (teacher came in on the long weekend!!!), and managed to get it working in good time, with no problems..
anyways more later..
