Tricia + Jon | Same-Day-Edit

when tricia came to me a month ago and asked if we could surprise jon with a Same Day Edit, eric and i were so excited to take on this request. we couldn't have been any more excited to grant her this wish!
just one week before the wedding day, we met with the two at tricia's home in orlando to "interview" them. the concept was to capture the story of how jon and tricia met and merge the storyline with the actual wedding day event. this was to be presented during the reception. the challenge (not really!) was to keep it a secret from jon. :)
what our team and i loved most about this wedding party is how the family opened up their home and made us all feel fully welcomed. it made our job seem like a playday instead of work. the entire day went smoothly, everyone was calm and collect, and even had some time to mingle and laugh with one another.
the greatest moment of all for us was unveiling our full day's worth of hard work, and planning, running around the room up and down the hotel, dumping footages, and checking camera images to the bride and groom along with 150 of their guests in the ball room of the Omni Hotel. it was definitely a challenge to be in many different locations at the same time. but with an awesome team that we have, all things were made possible.
as for a bride who has spent many months planning for her wedding day, i can't imagine anything better than to be able to see her own creation come to life in one night.
