a little charlie and the chocolate factory review...
ok. a little creepy, not gonna lie. it was like tim burton was def. trying to out-do himself. i dunno. it wasn't even like a good creepy, it was like a creepy, creepy. it was funny though. johnny depp is funny and weird and quirky. i like quirky people. but i liked that they added a lot of back story (don't want to ruin it for anyone). they cut out a lot of songs though which was sad. but they added a lot cooler oompa loompa songs. kind of like a baz lurman/moulin rouge thing. they took modern songs and put a little twist on them. cool cool.
i just don't think anything will be as good as the original. no one. i mean no one can beat gene wilder. and i mean...the graphics in this one were amazing, but the old one was just a classic, ya know? way ahead of its time, etc. etc.
i dunno guys...call me an old lady, but i still like the first one.
BUT
do not be saddened just yet, tim burton is coming out with a new movie called "the bride corpse" and it looks SIMPLY SPECTACULAR. that's what tim burton is all about. it's claymation/animation again and looks wonderful. i cannot wait.

MARCH OF THE PENGUINS is out. i looooooooooooooooooooove penguins. and i loooooooooooooooooooove bill, that is why i'm making him see it with me! tee hee. that is all for now. i'll ttyl.
