loyolapalooza
sooo...i got my paper done yesterday morning at like noon. after going to bed at 6 and waking up at 10. good times.
then saturday was celebrate night, because i wrote pages all together (8 in spanish and 12 in english). we went BOWLING. woot. i really wanted chinese food, but that place was closed so we went to cheeburger cheeburger. or something like that. some funny diner, type thing.
whatev! so then we went bowling. there was an HOUR wait. i've seriously, never had to WAIT for a lane. weird. so then we bowled and i did fairly well. but it was fun. just a fun, weir,d random night. then we came back here and played karaoke (of course) tee hee.
and today was loyolapalooza!! straylight run was kind of boring, no one was even singing or anything. the lead singer never even stood up, i don't think.
but...DASHBOARD was amazing. i went up really close for the first two songs and then came back and got bill and sat on the lawn. it was really good and everyone was really into it.
then i waited by the bus for like 40 mins to meet him and just when i was about to leave, we see him over by another place. i was like "i thought you were going to be over there". meh? but, i got him to sign my cd insert and i got a picture. w00t. nothing spectacular. he seems really nice. kinda quiete, but nice.
so that's about it. now, i'm off to dinner with bill and his aunt and uncle. should be good times. i need to work out more though. been eating very poorly and have not been working out enough.
and next week is finals. 4th, 5th and 6th i have finals and then i have take homes due the 10th and 11th and then i'm done. but i have to stay here until around the 20th because kyle graduates from g-town on the 21st and my rents don't feel like picking me up, going back home and then coming back down to this area all within a week.
it's all good. i get to spend some quality time with bill (and maybe alex and olha) and all the connections kids. and i will even be able to say goodbye to some sr's.
