Top Ten - Week ending May 4, 2008
In no particular order this week...
10. Disturbed's latest video - "Inside The Fire"...... Amazing!!
09. For the first time in a long ass time, I got to hang out with my best friend Greg, just us. Got a chance to catch up on a lot of things. We're both so freakin busy that we don't have time to even talk on the phone anymore. So it was nice to have a guys nice, playing pool, throwing darts, and drinking beer. Good times.
08. Danni, yes her again, had an audition for a part in a movie and she wanted me to go with her to Hornell, NY, where the audition was taking place. On the way there, we didn't have time to stop and eat lunch, and I was starving. She picked up lunch and we ate on the way there... how did I eat since I was driving you may be thinking? Danni, that sweethart, ended up feeding me as I drove since I didn't have any free hands... it was pretty cute actually. It might rank up as one of the nicest things anyones ever done for me haha.
07. GTA IV: Grand Theft Auto IV came out this past Tuesday!! The only video game in IGN history to get a 10 out of 10 rating... meaning, PERFECTION!! It's the Jimmy Wong of video games! I've been playing with all of my free time... I'm not done playing yet. To be continued...
06. It was one of those weeks where I had to pamper myself. Erie County benefits are so tremendous that they take care of you outside of work too. So I got a deep tissue massage from a pro masseuse paid for by Erie County... they're so relaxing, next one will be in early June =D
05. I went out to lunch with my brother Billy for the first time in a long ass time... we went out for Dim Sum at this restaurant close by my house. The food was decent, I know they make everything by hand. Not everything was good, but still, I know they, or the cute girl server, won't forget us. When they see us coming, they'll be prepared to make extra just for us heh.
04. On Friday, I took half a day off from work and went out with Shiana and Jackie to Fort Erie in search of some Chinese cuisine. We ended up going to come place right by the Peace Bridge that had some decent food. Kind of a hole in the wall restaurant. It was nice, decent food there, I might have a regular place to go to in Fort Erie.
03. So on the way back from Hornell, since Rochester was on the way back home, I decided to stop in at my favorite restaurant up there, Cantonese House, coz they serve Dim Sum all day long. If you didn't know, I could eat Dim Sum forever. I hadn't been up there in so long and the owners still remember me as the guy from Buffalo heh. Maybe they remember me coz no matter when I went there, I would spend nearly $100 on Dim Sum, whether it be there or to take home. I was probably one of the reasons they're still open haha.
02. I've mentioned the audition in Hornell, NY. Needless to say, it was the most fun day I've had in so long... I ended up spending the entire day with Danni and I think even my friends notice that I'm so much happier when I'm with her and on good terms... compared to my miserable self when I'm not. From the afternoon feeding, the two hour drive to get there, the pit stop in Arkport, NY and realizing that there are probably no asian people there and getting weird looks, haha, to the 1 hour spent in Hickville... I mean Hornell before the drive to Rochester for Dim Sum... I loved every single moment I spent with her. I wouldn't trade it for anything else =]
01. As mentioned the other day, April 30 was my day of birth. Like a fine wine, I get better with age and I've been aged for 27 years. I can't wait til someone, preferably Danni, uncorks me for a sip of this fine glass of drink. But I ended up having a nice big party dinner that night... after my massage of course. I ended up having some decent wine and I wanted to spend a few extra house with a certain someone, but she had a paper due before finals. But we rain checked our night out and hopefully we can have a date night soon. =D But damn I'm getting old =[
