(no subject)
Yesterday I went out to find a job with Matt.. well he needs it more than I do, but I am looking for a second job in case the one I have now goes downhill. I went into Amer's cafe and Lucky Kitchen, and both need a delivery driver! The L.K. folks were really desperate and wanted me to start today actually, but I don't even know what they paid. I talked to them in Cantonese lol. I was like "uhhhh, I'll give you guys a call some time!" - the same phrase that I hear from every girl who I never talk to ever again.
Small group was fun tonight. I signed up for doing the refreshments two weeks in a row like an idiot I am, but I'm glad that they were a hit, and hopefully it raised the bar for the rest of them (there better not be any slackers!). But anyway, tonight Tim and I pigs in a blanket and dirt dessert. It was so good, it reminds me of snake soup when I was a kid during my visit in China. (Sarcasm=10)
Things are getting so busy, TASA, JSA, Harvest, small group, lil sis's, LCG, and VSA maybe?... I've even got a concert to go to with friends Thursday, which is gonna be sweet! ARMIN VAN BUREN
As for how I am doing lately, if anyone wanted to know (yeah I know, i'm just hoping though lol).. I think I'm starting to open up and see things through a better light. Would it be dorky to say that I believe in Fairy Tales? So many people think Fairy Tales are just stories told to children as tradition nowadays. Even those children probably just shrug and forget about them.
But I'll tell you one thing... It takes a lot of courage to just believe. I'm willing to believe it... No, I want to believe it. No.. I lied - I will believe it.
You know why? It's because all of you, my friends, not just the ones on LJ, have shown me that you still care even though at a time I might have neglected a lot of you at certain times. Through that, I might have caught a glimpse of that light at the end of this pitch black tunnel. Perhaps God was speaking out to me through you.
And for that, I thank you all and You .. :)
