You know, I thought I was going to be good about posting, trying to post more often...yeah right! I always forget. But here we go, what is new, and as I promised those pictures of the new paint job on the M4. It was in a way a summer project, went faster than expected, since I had no time to take apart my M4 and customize the paint job through finals or in the spring semester.
1. This is the link to the pictures, it has the M4 and the Mp5, as well as Billy's AK47.
http://www.airsoftforum.com/board/Sopmod_M4_and_Mp5-t24694.html 2. I am now the caretaker of Billy's AK: this all happened about a week ago. It was when I went to the Farhats, Billy's dad was explaining his story of being a solider, firing some RPG-7s (Rocket Propelled Grenades, three of them actually) and then out of the blue he brings up from downstairs a green carrying bag. Uh...yeah, once I saw that bag I knew it was Billy's AK47 or AKM. Billy was jumping to get at the AK, justifying it was a gift from me, when actually it was all his. Though I did give Billy an M4 for a graduation/birthday present. As we were watching movies, some deleted scenes from Blackhawk Down, and also Tears of the Sun, we took those pictures of the guns which are now in in that link, for more high resolution shots and misc pictures check out www.photobucket.com, look up the user Aznmafia3. And now I am taking care of Billy's baby.
Don't worry Billy: I stripped her down, lubed her up, made sure everything checked out okay, took off the adhesive on the gun, fixed the wobbling in the front, and emptied the magazines. (As we tested fire the AK we almost hit Omar in the eye, as the idiot was staring down the barrel, ironically the entire time we were talking about the need for gun safety classes.) I also discharged and recharged the batteries multiple times, they checked out just fine, so you have two 8.4V 1800 mah batteries in nearly perfect condition.
3. Apparently all my posting on airsoftforum.com has gotten me the "member of the month" award, OoO! Basically is a place like livejournal, but everyone talks about airsoft, tactics, gear, real-steel guns, and etc.
4. Recently I've been out till 4 in the morning. Actually 3 or so in the morning, but driving back to the west side takes about 30-45 minutes. No don't worry guys am not party hopping, drinking, doing drugs, going to the clubs, killing random people, but just chilling with the A-rabs. Haha. Last time I was there, we did some much TKing, haha, Billy you crack me up. Ronnie was playing Warcraft, we were doing the Tking, and messing around with SWAT4, and America's Army Special Forces Edition, while all talking about Star Wars; talk about multi-tasking.
5. Man...finishing the training on America's Army is extremely hard. I spent around 4 hours, taking notes of these lectures in the medical training section, and took tests, in order to be SF-Special Forces. I still have yet to beat the last training op in that game, but I gave the Farhats my user name and password to my account so that they could have some online fun, and actually "bust-a-cap" instead of going through 4 hours individually. Kegan...your right that parachuting part of the training is a "shitte" hard, I had to re-try and re-try 30 times, no wonder you gave up man.
6. Star Wars: I have finally finished watching the entire series, yes all 6!!! It took about 3 days, on top of watching it at my Honey Bunny's place, man John and Daniel, you two crack me up so much. Love being around you guys. But of coarse I had to re-watch them, now my family wants to watch it. I think I like the first three most, but eh. I enjoyed it surprisingly, oh no am turning into a sci-fi fan!!! Crazy to think you watched this little boy grow up to be Darth Vader.
7. House of the Flying Daggers, that my QT let me burrow for the week, I finally watched. Man that was a good film, it was slow at first, but man once you got through the plot twist and reach the meat of the movie, just can't stop watching, a lot of symbolism and foreshadowing. Crap there goes my IB English mind. (Man I missed Mr. Jestmore's Class...good times, Mr. Irish man)
8. Because summer is here, I have been out back a lot. Mowing the lawn, trimming, watering, making sure the sprinkler system is working. It was so strange today, or I guess yesterday because of the time I am posting, but I mowed the lawn when it looked as if it was going to rain, and suddenly after coming in to shower, the sun comes out and it is extremely bright with clear skies. I hate the weather man...blah.
9. I've been working out lately, you'll find me early in the morning sometimes at the park, Sedgwick County Park, by the Zoo. It takes about 1 miles to get there from my house, and the loop around the track/sidewalks is about 4 miles, so if I don't drive there I run 6 miles. Takes the entire morning, and man I have such a framer's tan. Like I need one right? Because I am Asian?
10. Uh I should be studying for next year, as I have many science and math oriented classes. I feel like I've been doing drugs, letting my mind waste away, as I play these video games, work out, watch movies, and stay out till 4 in the morning, oh yeah I have work too, but man, it almost feels wrong not to read, and have a test, an assignment, a project, okay...stop thinking, this is summer, relax, enjoy right?
11. Oh yeah before I forget, thanks for the food guys. That was messed up though at your party, that some people thought Ronnie was the grad, not Billy. Party-hoppers...tsk tsk tsk, cracked me up though. Haha, amazingly no kids got killed, from running around so much, balloons all over the place. I found out that Rahul's dad is my physic professor! And the entire time I had no idea, I remember thinking I know a Rahul Kahol, is that his dad? Naw...oh well, and IT IS! He's really good, but his "children" suck at physics, avg of 32 on a test...ouch. Jawad, haha man it was great seeing you again, a lot of memories came back, remember Mr. McDonough, or however you spell his name, back in World History...man, chicken...the pen is mighter...hahah. Good times guys, good times. (Insider thing)
