I'm going this afternoon. I really can't wait. I've been a huge fan of the comics for a while and have been waiting for them to make a movie out of them for freakin years. I just wanna see Mickey Rourke fuck everybody up.

Well, it was more or less exactly like the comic. Frame for frame. I just wish he'd paced it a bit slower. Like perhaps linger on things like the snow or a speeding car or a woman walking for more than a split second before hitting us over the head with more action again & again. I just felt burnt out by the second half of That Yellow Bastard.. which sucks because that's my favorite story of the three.

Plus the transition of some of the dialogue to screen was pretty harsh.. but otherwise I dug it.

"Walk down the right back alley in Sin City, and you can find..." an unbelievable amazing film. Being a lover and studier of 50s film noir, this movie brings back the good ol' days. Black and white, dreary atmospheres, bad ass characters who live to be bad ass...yeah, this was Pulp Fiction meets comics meets Double Indemnity (maybe the greatest film noir movie ever made). It's bloody as hell and EXTREMELY R-rated, but it has to be the "coolest" movie I've seen in a really long time. And if you know how big of a movie buff I am, that's saying a whooooooole lot.
