Word 2007 is slowly becoming my favorite Microsoft product. It is slowly edging out Excel (I liked 2003 better than 2007 anyways).
My dissertation experience is so much better now that I've figured out the ins and outs of 2007. I cannot even begin to image what it would've been like had I had to propagate the table of contents, the list of figures, and the list of tables by hand. Now, all I have to do is designate the headings I want included in each table and hit update. All the page numbers, tabs, and the stupid dots are formatted automatically, and I don't have to sweat the formatting at all.
On top of all this, EndNote works fairly seamlessly within Word 2007. Other than a few glitches every once in awhile, I don't have to worry about internal citations matching my bibliography. I can even cut and paste from previous papers I've written, and the citations follow and update automatically.
I might actually be able to finish the writing thing by Wednesday after all. =)
