TGI Friday's NIGHTMARE
Friday's used to be such a great place to eat but now the new recruits have made the place somewhat least desirable. I don't mean "less desirable", I do mean "least desirable".
Imagine getting to Friday's and seeing a group of people waiting outside but you're ushered right in because you only have two in your party. Your waiter takes your drink order and brings it out in a timely fashion. Things are going good so you take your chances with ordering an appetizer, lets say chips and salsa. What would you do if the chips were stale? Of course you flag the waiter down and ask for some crispy chips. You order your entrees and the waiter refills your drinks so you let the chips go. When the entrees are served, you notice the food is right but the preparation is wrong. Instead of no cole slaw and extra fries, you get cole slaw. Worse, instead of a medium well burger, you get a charred well done one that is crispy on the outside. You would probably make a scene or bring it to the waiter's attention right? Well, what if the table he forgot to put the orders in for the people at the table behind you? You see the manager stare down the waiter and tell him he'll take care of it. Would you still give him a what for about your food preparation?
We decided to do the nice thing and just leave a small tip. I personally didn't want to make this particular waiter's night even worse. I thought about doing just that when he kept talking to some girl his age instead of waiting on us. I got my gold points and we got out of there. I sure hope this guy was just having an off night because I've never had such poor service in my life!
