The Promise Chapter 1

There we were standing face to face, he changed his hair and style. He wasn't the goofy nerdy kid I used to bully around. "Aa.." He said and nodded his head, "I see you still remember me." I laughed awkwardly as the wind past by us and blew our hair, he pulled up his bag and fidgeted with his wave-board in his hands. "Is something wrong?" I asked him, "If I knew you were coming I would have canceled my plans today.." He laughed, but kinda had a serious face on. I joined along with him "You should have." I smiled and laughed "Wow, you really have grown." He patted me on the head, and smiled "And your still short!" I brushed his hand off, it was really good to hear Dai-chan's voice again, but then I heard another voice coming from the left of me. "Dai-chan!" a voice called out, it was a boy about 2 years older than me, wearing a pink shirt and blue jeans riding his wave-board. "Ah! Yama-chan!" Daiki waved and the boy named "Yama-chan" stopped beside me. "Ah, I didn't know you were having friends over." He smiled and brought out his hand "Hi, My name is Yamada Ryosuke. Nice to meet you." He continued to smile "Aki." I said shaking his hand and a weird expression came across Yamada's face. "Aki..?" He said, and turned to Daiki "Dai-chan isn't she the girl you've--" He tried to continue, but Daiki cut him off, "hmm?" I said standing there watching the both of them. Daiki whispered something to Yamada and then Yamada started to head down the hill, "I'll talk to you later." Daiki smiled, he reached for his bag and placed something in my hands. "eh...?" It was my cherished item, I grabbed it but let it go slowly. "Why are you giving this back to me?" I asked, but he ended up smiling "Have you forgotten...? I'll tell you why..You told me to give it back to you, even if it is something to remember you by...I want you to remember this moment...the day we finally meet again." He smiled and took off, Yamada was already down the hill waving his hands in the air, it wasn't long before Daiki joined him by his side and waved too. More and more they grew smaller, I waved back and smiled "Okay..I promised." I smiled as I watched them take off, then I stared at the key chain.

Chapter 1
Day 1
"Aki! Wake up!" A voice yelled, I moaned back and rubbed my eyes and opened the window above my bed."It looks like a good day today!" I smiled while I saw the roofs of houses go on for miles.We lived on a hill which had a pretty nice view.

"Ah! " I said surprised, Okay..I kinda like Daiki as a fangirl, but...in real life? I see him as a friend..no wait an older brother maybe? I answered the call, and I didn't recognize the number but I still answered it "Hello?" I asked while sitting on the floor, trying to look for the remote for my TV. "Aki! It's Daiki!" He said with tons of energy. "Oh Hiya~!" I replied back with the same amount of energy. "So...do you want to hang out today?" He asked nervously, which was kinda odd to me. "Sure, and how did your day go yesterday?" I asked flipping the channels eating some pocky. "It was good. You should have came." He said sounding depressed "I didn't want to be rude and come last minute..plus you never invited me." I said watching a Kingdom Hearts 358-2 and Birth by Sleep CM. "Oh yeah...oops." He laughed, and I was too interested in TV..."So where do you want to go?" I asked him, "Anywhere is fine." He sounded mature "Woaah. is this the same Daiki that wouldn't make up his mind when we were children getting ice cream?" I laughed and teased him "Haha! Very funny." He said with sarcasm "Okay, Just give me your address." He said in a chipper moode. "How about we meet in the park, I wouldn't want you to see my messy house...or room for that matter." I switched the phone to my other ear "Haha, whatever floats our boat." He laughed and then it went silent, we usually talk for hours. "Jaa...I'll see you later" He hunged up, I stared at the phone "uhmm..okay bye?" I laughed and threw the phone on my bed. I wonder what that boy was saying yesterday...what was his name....Yama....guchi? Yamashita...? Yama....something I wonder what Dai-chan really said about me. "It's time to eat now !" Someone yelled from downstairs I moaned back to show I'll be down.
"Thanks for the meal!" I clapped my hands together and gave a hard gulp. "Woah, what's the rush?" My brother said drinking his juice making his cheeks puff up. "Aha, I have plans today." I smiled and ran to put my dish in the sink "Ouee, is it with that gay boy?" He lean back in his chair and smiled slyly, when I ran past him I bumped him making him unbalanced "No, it's with my childhood friend" I smiled and ran upstairs slamming my door behind me. "Yosh let's get ready!" I smiled as I looked at myself in the mirror.
15 minutes later
I walked out of my room wearing black skinny jeans with a checkered shoes wearing a messenger bag, I wore a plain t-shirt but I wore my graphic sweater. "Yo..Aki someone is here for you." As soon as I walked downstairs I saw a boy with very stylish hair and a casual look. "Aki." He smiled when I took a closer look it was Daiki. "I thought we were going to meet up somewhere?" I asked him while I went to go sit beside my brother "I thought it would be easier if I just came to you." He smiled but fiddling around with his hands "Okay let's go" I grabbed him by the hand and ran out the door with him. "Oh the keychain.." Daiki pointed to my bag. "Yep, is it so weird that I wear it?" I laughed "No...not really.." He diverted his eyes away from mines "Your so secretive now Geez.." I crossed my arms "I might be but..." He tilted my head up, I was pretty sure I turned bright red and my heart was pounding like a Dance Club "Uhmm...Can I help you?" I tried to speak calmly "I'm still the same boy who would beat you in games." He smiled so close to my face "SUREEEEEEEEEEE" I yelled out, and some hot air bursted out of my ears...Why was I so embarrassed?

"So you know what we're going to do today?" Daiki said with a childish attitude "I thought you said Go with the flow." I scoffed at him "Well...I want to show you what you've been missing ever since you left...I'm going to give you A New Beginning" He opened his arms wide and smiled at me "Is this was stardom does to you?" "No..but..." He held out his hand to me "It's what you do to me." He grabbed my hand "Oh..." EH?!
