Um, you could try talking to your mom without yelling.
But that's pretty hard to do considering that most people can't do it.
If your mom ever hits you, you could always call me and we could go somewhere until things cool down a bit.
I don't think running away would help though.
Most parents would just get stricter, but if worse comes to worse, you can always hang out at my house. My parents are pretty cool about people staying over.
I hope things get better for you.
