Cream soda colours

Birthday gift for a friend who's favourite colour is pink -- she requested something pink and sparkly, so I gave her a "gold" gift certificate to her favourite mall (the mall calls it the "gold" gift certificate; sure, marketing peeps, I is cool wit' 'dat because gold is sparkly bling fo' sho'?) and this.
Not much time for procrastinatory LJ posting or drawing these days, which kind of sucks? I have drawings done a while back, but they're not finished and I don't know when they ever will be.
Last night I looked up this year's Toronto Comic Arts Festival (TCAF) out of curiousity to see who the guests were, even though the thing doesn't take place until May. I am woefully uninformed, and don't know all the names present, but I recognize a bunch. And they have a stellar line-up. STELLAR.
Too soon to say whether I'll be able to make it.
