Ok. Recap of my weekend.
I went to Fredonia on Saturday night around 9:00 - 9:30.
It was a fun car ride, but when we get there we try to figure out the sleeping arrangements and we find out that we need some sort of ID and Quinneka being the extremely intellegent girl she is, she did not bring any ID at all. So she had to sleep in the car while me and Ashara and Elaine slept in Ashley Atwater's dorm. I'm sure Quinneka was just as comfortable as i was because i was terribly uncomfortable on that hard, cold floor. I woke up at least two dozen times. It was not cool.
Anyway, the next morning, Ashley rushed us out of the dorm and told us we needed to find somewhere to go and something to do and left me, Ashara and Quinneka alone on this huge campus. We hung out in Elaine's car for like two hours listening to music and such but we were so bored...and felt extremely hungry. So we hung out with Ashara's friend Tiffany and without her we would not have had breakfast cause we had no idea where anything was. After breakfast Ashara's friend Gary picked us up and let us stay at his apartment for a while. We were there for like five hours. Watched the fuse and mtv and stuff. Nothing exciting. Me and Quinneka got into a small arguement and we worked it out like an hour later. Around 5:00 we got back to the Fredonia campus and waited in Elaine's car until Elaine got us and showed us where to go to get in. That walk was cooold. All windy and shit. When we got in Elaine snuck us some pizza and drinks and we waited in line for the Dashboard Confessional concert. When we got in we rushed to the front and waited for like a half-hour and we saw the opening act. I can't remember his name. But he wasn't bad. Then finally a half-hour after he was done, Dashboard came on. Yeah, i just wanna say that i ENVY his voice and the range on it. *Sigh* If only...
Anyways, after the concert the girls went on their Chris hunting trying to get another glimpse of him and an autograph. I just sat around and waited for them. After that we went out to eat. Mmmm Denny's was awesome. Great food. And great service. Our waiter was awesome. He gave us refills on drinks everytime he walked by. And was always checking on us periodically. So of couse we gave him a good tip. After it was off to the hotel parking lot to find a parking space and get ready for bed. And we slept in the car. That was really uncomfortable...
And finally Monday morning rolls around and we get some Tim Hortons and head back for Rochester. I was relieved to leave and i think everyone else was too because after that trip i just hated that town and that college. The car ride was fun, listened to some music, had some good conversation and got a speeding ticket. Yeah that was fun, cause everyone around us was hitting the same exact speed and it had to be the car with minorities in it. And can they pull over more than one car at once? Cause that's exactly what he did. Got two people us, and some other people, and handed out tickets. Grr. Whatever. Yeah and we definently past the three Rochester exits. So we had to turn around and it took us 1 hour and three dollars out of our way. But we finally got there. And that is it...I'm tired now. And i think i'm going to bed.
