I'm still trying to comprehend what happened today/tonight.

From popping that top
To drowning my misery
I can't seem to convince myself
To simply...
Just face the facts.

So I sat, and I pondered
To the point where I forgot
What I was concentrating on in the first place.
Anyway, everything's ready.
So it's go time.

"Drinks with Attitude!"
Rocket Cups are awesome
Despite their childish appearance.
Who would've thunk one (or two)
Would be so amused by them?

Forward, march.
After circling the city
As if we were in a bumper car
With fucked up steering (partially due to my impaired judgment),
We made it without a scratch.

We brushed off the plaque,
We huffed and we puffed,
Then we blew the straw house down.
We felt brilliant when
We finally figured out where the pothole was located.

We chit-chatted
About the good times and the bad.
It careened from
The past, the present, then to the future
Momentum was our word of choice.

So flake after flake,
I head onward once again.
The lights were flashing,
There was havoc and chaos
But we sat patiently and ignored it all.

We conversed through the night,
The sky was on fire tonight as well.
Eventually we sped towards our headquarters.
Our heads were bouncing like a bobble head.
We stopped 'cause I ran out of ammunition.

The slightest of tremors
Brought the buildings tearing straight down.
And the flood, washed the stars right off of the ceiling.
But the moon's ray beamed ever so brightly down
Upon the truth of it all.

Coffee makes me act weird.
