remeber when you and i sat, my dear sweet wet grass girl. the hard seas of wind stuck our eyes, and we laughed a little longer that day. we never laughed like that on other days so bleak. days tarnished with a blanket of regret we once shared. never-the-less we called that tree our own as it's herds of branches unfolded to the sky. from that point on you and i never agian saw a day of rain and we pulled sunlight from our finger tips. so here i am building the future with my footsteps, as the leaves spiral around my head. they communicate through prismatic symphony. the leaves never dance alone. lets merry-go-round our thoughts and let wandering eyes peer through dirty window panes. all between refills of coffee and sympathy. lets just not talk and bottle up our empathy, just drive me home and package your sorrow, send me on my way.
