a blank screen stare pours over me, while ringtone words echo through my brain. now my mothers garden no longer blooms, and the summers grass that micheal grew is pale green and no longer soft to the touch. i say to my brother "hey it will be just fine" as he continues to stand over me netting my thoughts. while you sit there with you clever disguise, rearranging your thoughts. for every bit of furniture that is moved a memory is lost, and you say "my heart belongs to someone else" and your mother rocks back and forth watching the leaves fall and the day change, while sarah uses her pen to fill her notebook with tangible proof that love still exists in people. you move your bed teeming with the memory where you and i once lay. so i will sit here and wallow through what was given, you said you never planned on falling in love, yah well i never planned on laying in bed night and day sewing whats left of my heart.
