Daylight Savings Time

Nov 04, 2004 09:59

One would assume that I'd get sed to the fact that I've set my clock back an hour. Better yet, one would assume that I changed all the clocks in my room back an hour. I set my alarm to wake me up at around 7:30 so that I could leave and not be late for my tutorial, which is in 20 minutes and I'm literally 5 minutes away from it. So, I really can't be late unless I fall asleep at this computer and then I may actually be late. So, I looked at my watch and I saw that it was 8:30. Clearly, this would be why I'm always alte for my tutorial. Waking up at 8:30 in the morning will not get me here in time, unless I choose to run out the door in my pajamas and we don't want that happening. So anyways, I crawled out of bed and turned on the radio, only to realize that it was actually 7:30! Stupid me, forgot to change the other clocks in my room. Now that was sad to find out I still could have slept some more, but waking up when I did gave me plenty of time to get ready, which isn't necessary so I just spread out the process. I still managed to get some Chem notes written, so it wasn't a total loss to wake up that early.

I've come to the conclusion that I should leave with my Daddy on Thursdays that way I'm early for my tutorial. Otherwise, I'm just always gonna be late. I don't know what it is about this tutorial that I can't be motivated to be here on time. It's not like it's a boring tutorial, it has it's moments, although it can be boring at times. I guess it's since I have no real passion for Philosophy. Although I was reading "On Faith and Reason" this morning on the bus and it was pretty interesting. (the parts I understood anyways) I still haven't read all of the pages yet, but I will in due time. Knowing the rate that we go in my Lectures, I'll be fine.

I just tried to go on Web Messenger so I could talk to Caz and Abby, who live in Portmouth, but it won't sign me in. I'm guessing these library people have caught on and are preventing people like ne from using it. But, I might try again in a few minutes. Maybe I'll use Netscape instead of Internet Explorer, it's worth a shot really.

I still have so much work to do and I keep getting distracted at home. But I'm determined, I will finish my calculus homework after I get home tonight. I really will, if I don't I'll be screwed for my quiz on Friday. This reminds met to write my Physics quiz too. That's due tomorrow as well.

I'm going to pick up my new glasses tonight. YAY! This will be a relief, I've waited way to long for them to come in. So, after school today I have to go and pick them up. I can't wait to see how they turn out. That reminds me to call Daddy to remember to bring my contact lenses' case so that I can take them out before I try on my glasses. I'm sure i have to double check that they work properly. ^-^

I think Andrew's getting me to donate blood today, which should prove to be interesting as I know there's lots of sugar running through it since of Halloween. I think I should lay low on the sugar concept of life. I can't believe I just said that. *is ashamed*

Tutorial time! Until later...

really, the only reason I do this is occupy my time before my tutorial. (oh and web messenger is being a twat and won't let me sign in >.
