I got a message on my voicemail the other day from Fed-Ex saying that they tried to deliver a package to me but because the address was wrong, couldn't and that I needed to call them.
This was odd because a) I wasn't expecting a package b) if they couldn't deliver it because the shipper got my address wrong, why is it my problem to deal with?
I called them today and after trying to get a live person and not a recording for about 10 minutes, I discovered that Allied Research had sent the package and spelt my address wrong. (off by one letter) I asked if they could correct it and re-send it but he said that he couldn't guarantee when they would send it and it would be around 9 - 5. I'm not home then, no one is so I said okay, tell me where to get it. It's not horrifically far but inconvenient as I am vehicle-less. I can bus it or con Daddy to taking me.
Regardless, why the hell is ARI sending me stuff via Fed-Ex? I was rather tempted to tell the man to look for the package and open it for me but I know he probably didn't work at the facility itself.
I'm so curious.
