I have a new toy.
Yesterday, Niya was super nice and accompanied me all the way to Best Buy to pick up a digital camera for my lack-of-digital-camera self. I was originally going to get one kind but I ended up with another which is just as cool and super cute. Well not as cute and sleek as my original choice. But it does have Image stablization and does some magic before it takes the picture so it turns out real nice. And knowing my correct photography skills is something that I'll need.
My main reason to getting it was because of all my labs that have all the fossils that I'm supposed to be able to recognize but I like pictures better so this will help loads. I just need to remember to order some memory cards so that I can take more pictures.
Also, I have to take pictures of monkeys at the zoo. I was told today that we'll be required to purchase memberships for ourselves. One student membership here I come. I only fear the trip that I will have to endure to get to the damn zoo in the first place. Maybe I'll find my zebra-looking-like-a-rhino pal from the last time I went.
I'm currently just sitting at the library buying time before i have my seemingly pointless Stats lecture and tutorial which follows. This reminds me that I may have a quiz today so I might want to look over my notes. Just in case. I seriously hope my TA (supposedly named Danny) will tell us. Just hand in your assignments and leave. Cuz THAT would be cool.
Oh, next on my technology buying adventures - one new laptop. *grins* I can't wait.
My prof cancelled lab for this Friday (again) which means I have only the one class on Friday at 3 (which goes until 4) So essentially this means I will be toying with the notion of staying home and doing nothing. I like the sound of that option.
I apologize for the randomness.
I will post later with something a little more thought provoking. On my part any way. I need to think out something that's been eating me up for the last few days.
