“Alright you hooligans, come and clean up this mess and let's get out here,” said Frank who was at the moment putting his tools back into his toolbox.

Three heads immediately nodded their head and proceeded to clean up the mess that was a result of an impromptu peanut fight.

“Maura, let Jane and Frankie take care this mess since they were the instigators in the first place,” said Frank who gestured Maura to follow him.

Jane glanced at her father giving him a confused look, unable to read her father's face she was about to say something when Maura's voice interrupted her.

“It's not a problem Mr. Rizzoli, I to was an instigator in this mess.”

Tearing his eyes away from his daughter Frank looked and Maura and said, “Would you accompany me to my truck I would like to speak with you privately, if that's alright with you.”

Surprised Maura looked towards Jane, who just gave her a small shrug. Shaking her head she looked at the older Rizzoli and replied, “Of course, Mr. Rizzoli.” Walking around the bar she followed the man out the door.

“What was that about?” Frankie asked as he watched the door firmly closed behind his father and friend.

Coming around the bar Jane leaned heavily against the bar covering her face with her hands. Jane didn't immediately answer her brother's question, but after several deep breaths she finally pulled her hands away and looked at her brother and said, “He knows.”

Maura and the older Rizzoli walked in silence for several seconds. Abruptly Frank stopped in tracks and turned and looked at Maura. Without hesitation Frank blurted out, “Do you love her?”

Maura almost tripped over feet when she heard the man's question. Lifting her head her eyes connected with the man that now stood front of her. Maura could not decipher the look on the man's face, of course she never really was good at reading people. She knew she couldn't lie to Jane's father for the man was the closing thing to a father that actually gave damn about her. Knowing that it was no or never Maura said three small, yet life-changing words, “Yes, I do.”

A rush of relief and happiness filled Frank Rizzoli soul, finally after years of wondering he finally knew the truth. Frank saw the look of love and honesty radiating from Maura's face and knew that Jane had finally taken that leap of faith. Unable to contain himself he put down his toolbox and pulled Maura into a tight hug.

“All I ask from you and Jane is to love each other, if you can do that then the both of you just made me the happiest father in Boston.”

Hearing those words, Maura relaxed into Frank's fatherly embrace. Maura could not believe that just like that Frank Rizzoli would accept her as Jane's girlfriend, so being the person that she is she had to ask, “How did you know?”

Releasing Maura from the hug Frank pulled back and looked at Maura with adoring eyes. A full-blown smile appeared and a hearty laugh filled the quiet the space around them.

“It was the first day Jane introduced you to us, I believe it was at the Fourth of July party. That entire day I watched the both interacting with each other. I saw pure happiness radiating from Jane's face whenever somebody asked about you and I saw that same exact look of pure happiness from you as you watch Jane interacting with others. By the end of the day I knew that the both of you were meant to be together.”

“Why the hell are you even worried? Dad knew long before you two did and before you ask I don't know when and I don't know how. Dad just told me he knew about you and Maura. Besides I too knew long before either of you did.”

“Ha, you know this means I have to kick you ass for not telling me this and I assure you that you won't be able sit properly for a week.” Jane said menacingly.

“You know you don't to do that. Kicking my ass is not keep your relationship with Maura behind doors, eventually people are going to know about.” Frankie replied.

Sighing Frankie came from behind the bar and pulled his sister towards him and said, “You have nothing to be afraid of Jane. Both me and dad adore Maura, she's charming, beautiful, caring, and she loves you with her entire being. Don't be afraid to love her openly Jane, don't let those assholes out there tell you otherwise and if the give you or Maura any grief then they have me to answer to because no one messes with my family.”

Hearing Frankie's little speech had Jane smiling at her little brother, “Since when did my little brother become so smart?”

Seeing that Jane was teasing him Frankie shook his head and pushed Jane away from him, “Come sis, better get this cleaned before dad and Maura get back.”

Sighing Jane got up from her chair and followed her brother and proceeded to finish cleaning, but not before saying one more thing, “You know I'm still going to kick your sorry ass.”

Both Frank and Maura were all smiles when they returned to the bar. There they found Frankie and Jane waiting patiently for their return.

“Its about time, Frankie and I were about send out a search party to look for the both you.” Jane said jokingly.

“Yeah, what took you guys so long?” Frankie asked.

Maura smiled at Frankie and said, “Your father and I had a very interesting heart to heart conversation about Jane and myself.

Grinning Frankie looked to his father who had a smirk upon his lips and then turned and looked at his sister who was wearing a grin. Shaking his head he looked at Maura and replied, “Really, because Jane and I had a heart to heart, as well.”

This perked Maura's interest, immediately she looked at Jane and knew right away that something had changed for the better. Moving away from Frank, Maura walked towards to were Jane stood and stopped in front of her.

Both women stood there just looking at each other trying to find the right words to say, but nothing came to mind. So the two women did the next best thing, Maura wrapped her arms around Jane's shoulders while Jane put her arms around Maura's waist and leaning her head against Maura's.

Watching the scene in front of them Frankie and Frank nodded in agreement to give these two love birds some privacy.

“We'll be outside, let us know when you're to go.” Frankie said as he the door open allowing his father to exit first and then himself.

Neither Jane or Maura heard Frankie and Frank leave both of them in their own little bubble. Still locked in their embrace Jane and Maura still had no words to describing what they were feeling. Looking into each others eyes both women saw pure happiness and love showing in each others eyes. Finally, after a couple minutes Jane broke the silence.

“He knows?”

Maura nodded her head.

“Frankie?”

Jane nodded her head.

Sighing Jane started to place butterfly kisses all over Maura's face slowly making her way towards Maura's lips. When she finally came upon Maura's lips she said one last thing.

“Two Rizzoli's down, one Rizzoli to go.”

Maura smiled at Jane before pulling her closer to her where she whispered in Jane's ear.

“You better kiss me Detective Rizzoli or Dr. Isles is going to be really upset.”
