(no subject)
Ugh, it's after 1 o'clock in the afternoon but all I want to do is crawl back into bed under the covers. What started out as some sniffles and a scratchy throat this weekend is now a full blown cold heading towards a sinus infection. My teeth ache so badly...and I was hoping it was only allergies and would go away in a day or two. My boy called into work for me this morning which is nice. But missing work kinda sucks because although I would be absolutely miserable if I went in, I'm not full time there so it means I just lost a day's worth of work off my paycheck. I also don't get to take off all that often (our office doesn't have much for a backup plan when people are sick) so it's too bad that I don't get to use a day off to do anything fun or at least if I am saying home be able to relax and enjoy not working. Instead I just get to be miserable at home instead of at work. Sigh, sniff.
To add insult to injury I also knocked my head a good one this weekend. I was doing laundry and went to look behind the dryer, somehow completely forgetting about the low shelf right above it. I smacked my forhead right into the corner of the shelf, even left a little shelf corner impression right above my eyebrow that was soon replaced by a red lump. It's still just as red and lumpy and sore today. I hope it goes away soon.
