Turtles forever hyping ahoy! Spoiler warning! (under the cut)
I watched it. I made weird noises while watching it. I revelled in it. I love it. Turtles Forever is the best damn thing to ever happen, aaagh! <3
I mean, the whole concept, to bring the old toon turtles and 2k3 turtles together was made of gold from the beginning. It could not be nothing but pure WIN. There are so many amazing scenes and little things in the movie I'd like to hype about, but I'll only list some of them here now, because I'm so pumped about the movie as I just finished watching it, I can hardly keep my thoughts together.
The best damn movie ever, and here're a few reasons as to why I like it so much.
♥ I loved the old toon turtles, they were so goofy and mellow and aaaw!
♥ I loved how even Mikey got tired of their constant joking and how he got the best of their affection
♥ Old toon Krang and Shredder were the best <3 They were so sympathic!
♥ Raph was so big brothery charming in the scene in which all eight turtles were about to confront the 2k3 Shredder in the Technodrome, Shepherding old toon Raph and Leo into the Drome when they were still going about their "battle cries". ♥
♥ Raph was also the most adorable thing when he was trying to impress the classical Mirage turtles by bringing up how stupid the old toon turtles' pelt buckles looked to him after the classics had wondered aloud what was with the 2k3 turtles' multicolored bandanas.
Oh, and speaking of the classical turtles, a great wave of goosebumps rid through my body as soon as I realized who were going to appear in the movie next as the turtles transported themselves to the monochrome dimension! Seeing the Mirage turtles in the movie, in action, was beyond amazing, seriously!! They were so cool and they had amazing voices and were all bad ass and and they just blew my mind away!
♥ also, last but not least, there were some great scenes between Raph and Leo and a few with Don and Mikey, too. ♥
... I'm sorry it's all so jumbled, I'm not in the state of mind to produce very coherent text right now. ': D It was sooo great! Only thing that left me wondering was the old toon Aprils' faith. What happened to her after the mutant pizza kidnapped her? We may never know.
But oh well, to shell with April and her mystery faith, the movie rocks!
Gonna watch it again soon, I probably missed some nice little details in all my excitement. It's always like that when you see something breath-taking for the first time.
