So, recently  I moved out of Otana and Mana's because I couldn't afford to pay rent, as well as the fact that my diabetes is not under control and I need time to work on that, and couldn't do that working full time. My parents brought me back up here, after I spent a short stint in the hospital again ( I ran out of medicine, went to go get more, and my levels were pre-DKA so they didn't let me go for a few days.)

And then, of course, I got a cold! A really nasty one that is lingering. Green mucus and everything. I lost my voice saturday and sunday, and I'm still scratchy.

And then the left side of my mouth started swelling. I thought it was gum irritation, but then it got a lot painful. Last night? It popped. Apparently I had an absess in my mouth. I was already gargling with salt water, but I moved to a peroxide solution after that. Good news, though; the swelling is gone today, though the area is still painful. I haven't had to take ibuprofen like I did the last three days. Hopefully it goes away on its own (in the sense that then getting to the dentist is not a right-the-fuck-now issue.)

I've called my CCS worker, and the CCS group up here, so hopefully my case gets transferred soon. I told them I need a doctor's referral ASAP due to the hospital visit, the mouth thing, and a couple other issues. I'm also checking out diabetic support groups and counselors.

....so yeah, state of the Tai.
