Good day!
I actually had a pretty good day today.
The last 2 days I walked 4 of Doug and Mindys domestic dogs. There's a bird dog, 2 little black dogs, and a rotwhiler. The funnest is the bulldog and GOD is she a sweetheart.
Eefay almost took a nap in my lap today. She's such a sweety, its just a shame she is skittish.
Dad and I got out there at 8:30 today and they were gonna do surgery on Ramse [the male leopard]. Visectimise him and blah blah. Well, for a good hour, I was a part of the surgical team. I helped to lift the cage the first time, then I helped to clear out the kitchen and get the table out to where we could use it to operate. We got him on and made sure he was down, then Doug put me at the head, where I had to put my knuckles on the top of his head and, if he started to move, I put my hand on his neck along his jaw and pushed down [not too hard, of course]. Oh my GOD, it was SO FUN! And SO NEAT!
Of course, with a full group of people in there and everything, I did get wary after an hour and got dad to replace my spot. I went out and just walked around the compound to relax.
It was just one of the kewlest things I have done in a long while. =) I'm going to start going out when we're having surgeries more often.
