I just had dinner at the Hare Krishna temple.
Someone cave me a crown of flowers
I walk into the video store
I hang out there
video dude rents me
V for Vendetta
for free
a little girl - maybe 7 or 8
years old
is giving me a weird look
staring
reflecting
ahhhh the flowers on my head
I take them off
as I walk towards her
do you want them?
unsure
she says
yes
I put them on her head
we part ways
I turn around to see
her walking around
the video store
with
a
HUGE SMILE!!
