Where we learn that Romance novels are responsible for STDs and abortions.
Reaally.
Well,
Sarah from the Smart Bitches said everything there was to say on the subject.
Still it's both frustrating and maddening to see some people always blaming entertainment for what's a clear lack of education.
Kids are violent ? Blame the video games. Bullying at school, it's the Internet and now that...
Sexual health problems ? It's the romance novels (and the article is apparently "well researched", why isn't it surprising?).
Seriously.
People might follow the Church but women don't follow romance novels as their bibles. And I know which one is the most damning to sexual health.

I have begun my mini-Bang for
stevedannoslash and I'm pretty happy with where I'm going so far. I'm doing the pen-paper-concentration thing. Yes that means I still need to type it after but it's also mean I'm sure I've read every sentence twice at least. I've got about 1200 words.

Fandom-wise, I'm thinking very hard about Suits... I found myself waiting for the next episode much more than I thought. More than I'm waiting for even White Collar (which is one of my favorite summer guilty pleasure). I love love love the relationship between Harvey and Mike. Still. I've only seen two episodes, maybe I'll find it stupid and boring after the fifth. Who knows ?

I won't talk about last night's dream. Really I knew I had problems but what would have been a nightmare for anyone sane, was feeling like just an ordinary dream. Rape, murder, official commemorations, conspiracies and SNCF strikes. Just all part of the plot.
