Just one week left of the Round The World trip ... where has the time gone?
Today we(*) went to Seaworld in Orlando, Florida. Lots of walking, lots and lots of photographs (took over 500, kept around 440 odd). Which means there are now over 7000 pictures I've taken since I left on my holiday.
Anyone up for a slideshow night? or two? ;-)
On Friday I backed up my photographs from the laptop hd to DVDs at hedgegoth's place. It took four of them.
The long trip is starting to take its toll on my electronics. The video camera is intermittently dead. My mp3 player is dead. I've somehow lost two and a half sets of rechargeable batteries (that's 10, 8xAAs and 2xAAAs). My external USB drive is mostly dead. The laptop's hard drive makes an interesting noise now and again. The battery in the laptop is also dead. One card reader and USB cable, dead. Two sets of headphones, dead. And I have this recurring pain in all the diodes down my left side...
