Help.
I am looking for the absolute cheapest way (ie: no cost would be best) to park in/near Washington, DC.
I will have my bike so I really just need to be within a few miles of a rail/bus stop.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
NOTE: I will be going around 4 July (not going to celebrate the Day of "Independence" it just happens to be when I can go because I will be in Philadelphia and don't want to make two trips down there) so keep the massive influx of people in mind when advising. I know there are 3 multi-day park and ride lots attached to the metrorail system but each only sets aside 15-17 spots for what I need. This will not be enough considering I will be arriving around 12 noon/1pm on 2 July.
Ideally I would like to be in the city by 2.30 so I can scope out research sites.
