today i took the mp3 player and discovered a song! touch my hand by david archuleta.
it's really repetitive, but i like the way he sings this verse-
In a sea of people,
There was only you,
I never knew what this song was about,
But suddenly now I do.

the verse makes it seem as though he was singing on stage then he spotted the pretty girl and suddenly had an epiphany and realised what he was singing about. (ok it's more like fell in love at first sight for the very first time and suddenly understood the love song he was singing or whatever haha. the epiphany thing would be quite cute too lol.)

I like the way his voice goes high (falsetto?) for 1 or 2 beats and then goes back to normal again.
funny thing was that when i listen to this verse-
I see the sparkle of a million flashlights
A wonderwall of stars
But the one that's shining out so bright is the one right where you are

I always hear "but the one that's shining not so bright is the one right where you are" lol. and somehow i like it the way i hear it. it makes the girl even more special coz he noticed her even though she was the one who wasn't as bright. :D that means she's more special right? :D:D (okay i have weird logic. but i thought that line was cool the first time i heard it.)

ahhh he sings really well. i'm like going on a youtube marathon of his songs. instead of doing my ss readings ugh. (i rmb listening to his album and thinking it quite boring tho. ^^")

maybe i'm going through my tween music phase again. XD
