Job hunting sucks....
I love Georgia. Seriously. I've fallen in love with the state. Maybe it's the fact that we have SEASONS (like.. with leaves changing, and icy weather, and trees blooming and everything!) But it's something. So I'm going to try and stay here and get a job. Problem is.... well, job hunting sucks, particularly right now.
I've fired my resume all over the place, and have gotten some interest here and there. I'd rather not say anything for fear of jumping the gun, so I'll report when I HAVE a job. :-p But really, the whole process is stressful, as I need something concrete by the end of June, as I won't have any money after that. And in August I have to move out of this place.
What doesn't suck is the boyfriend. Yes, boyfriend. Gleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. That's all.
Also what doesn't suck is going back to Texas for a week and a half. Saw friends, had delicious happy food, drove around town and surprised myself with the fact that I still knew how to get around the place. Austin, and Texas as a whole, will always be my home, and I know I can always return if life beats me down too much, but I just feel like I should live elsewhere. I miss my friends, and places, and family. But I like it here in Georgia, too. Or maybe I'd like it in Virginia, or Pennsylvania, or Washington......
And it was nice to know I was missed greatly while I was gone. And not by the cats, either. :-)
