College Update #1
I think it's time I do an update on where I am right now in my life.
So much stuff is going on that I don't even know where to begin.
One word. College. It truly is a great experience.
I'm really learning more about myself now that I'm living on my own.
It is so nice to have complete independence and just do your own thing.
Everything is completely random and spontaneous.
In my opinion, the only way to live your life is spontaneously.
I love being able to skate to Tempe Town Lake at sunset,
and just sit there and think/study, and take everything in.
Who wants to go peddle-boating with me?
Sean and I went awhile ago and it was amazing.
Or drive to the Scottsdale Center for the Arts,
Get starbucks and listen to music for hours.
Most of all, I love how friendly most people are.
Moving along...
I'm the assistant coach/goalie on my soccer team.
Practice every Monday & Wednesday, Games on Saturday.
Captain of my ASU Intramural Flag Football team.
Practice every Tuesday & Thursday, Games on Monday.
I'm getting into the rhythm with all of my classes now.
It's nice to feel like I've got a good handle on school.
Today was sweet.
Watched ASU get killed by Oregon.
Then went to dinner with my folks at Monti's.
And then I decided to go to Edgefest after all.
Chilled with Steven and Brooke for a little,
Then met up with Sean, Paul and JB-Yo.
Had a good time hanging out with all of them.
I love those kids.
Incubus played awesome.
It was their 1st show in the U.S. in 2 years. Crazy.
Went to Jon's for a little bit and chilled with everyone.
Curran is awesome at guitar & singing by the way.
I'm gonna record him soon and put him up on myspace.
He just doesn't know it yet, hah.
Tomorrow will consist of..
x & y.
i'm a bottle brought to shore in the morning tide.
i'm a dandelion flying about the celestial sky.
i'm ready for this life to begin.
