Not sure whether to withdraw membership from one of my communities or not.
But that's not important. What is important is a snippet of information that I found out on Jon Stewart.
The USA is selling 20 billion dollars worth of weapons to the Saudis. And I didn't even blink. I wasn't surprised. Dear LJ, I'm starting to think I'm becoming jaded.
Am I jaded? No, not really. I'm kind of mad at some things right now, and I'd like to say "fuck you" to some people, but that is very irrelevant and small.
Twenty billion dollars' worth... WOW. Now I'm just pausing over the number, saying it out loud. It's a lot. A lot of countries in the world don't have twenty billion dollars worth of BUDGET for the entire YEAR. I am just wondering who the Saudis are going to war with.
