Adventures In Your Own Backyard

Today I woke up and no more then 12 inches from my face was a spirited young robin who was diligently pecking at the ground directly beneath me for a treat. After about 30 seconds of waiting in silence, I saw the robin wrench a helpless worm from the earth, then hop away in pleasure. I'd say that goes under the top 3 thing I've ever woken up to. How about you?

Would it be wrong of me to describe John Gilling's writing as orgasmic? I think I'm secretly in love with his writing, and I'm very sad that he quit live journal. Even sadder is the fact that he has graduated from high school now, and all the memories we never made together slip slowly into that wasteland where all unrealized dreams live. I truely believe that man has the potential to change the world.

On a happier note, SAT's were today! Although falling short of the March SATs/prom, today's were fun fun fun. With luck, I'll have broken into quadruple digits... and also, there was a clear lack of a customary visit to Bickfords after, but maybe we'll go tonight.

On one hand, I wish summer would last forever, on the other, I wish senior year was already here.
