Personally, I'm not a big fan of punching myself in the face.
Anyway, other news. 7.5 hours today, but I'm still not sure what's going to happen with this job. I wish I could get some kind of guaranteed hours. On the other hand, there's something with Prudential that pays 12.50 an hour (Proset is 9 or 9.50) and is a good 35 hours a week. But...I'm finally committed to up here after three weeks where I would have been open to something like that. I guess I'll have to figure it out by Sunday.
My grandma is still in the hospital dealing with a leg infection, a blood clot and some other things. She was also diagnosed with diabetes, which wasn't a huge surprise, but nonetheless poor timing for everything to stack at once. But she's doing better now, at least. Having been born into such a young family (Mom is now 40, Dad turns 41 next month), I've had all six of my grandparents in all 20 years of my life...so the thought of losing them after all that time is disheartening (albeit inevitable).
I need to stop thinking so much.
