I took yesterday off because I felt like being lazy, so today I am finally back at work. Still trying to adjust to the time difference, or something.
I woke up this morning, in the middle of a pretty intense dream only to realize that I was late to a meeting. I have felt foggy-headed ever since. I HATE when that happens.
Work... With the impending layoff and the information I got yesterday that one of my team members turned in his letter of resignation, things here are in turmoil. I am not worried about losing my job, just dreading the amount of work I am going to have to pick up.
Rakis... Very fun. Got to put faces to a lot of names. My husband was quite the social butterfly. The mountain tried to claim my ankle, but I sacrificed my knee instead. It's skinned pretty bad, and neglect yesterday has caused it to be somewhat infected and painful today.
Other trip highlights... Red Rocks was a blast. I can't wait to see the pictures. I love being a child in nature, acting foolish. Dinner Monday night at the Moroccan restaurant was a very unique and enjoyable experience.
