This comparison read so insane to me (one killed somebody while being physically attacked, another supposedly choked to death somebody who stepped into a subway car and announced that he was going to kill everybody; whereas the third took out a gun and murdered an unsuspecting unarmed man who wasn't posing any immediate threat to him) that I asked the internet about any new materials on Daniel Penny.
While the trial of Derek Chauvin was televised, it appears that the trial of Daniel Penny wasn't. So, apart from retellings by journalists or tv presenters, there is little actual information available.
What I did find, however, is a 30-minute recording of a police interview of Daniel Penny. As a primary source, this is interesting to watch:
