Nishi-Shinjuku and Odaiba

Yesterday we slept laaaaaate. XD. really late. When we finally got up, we went to Nishi-Shinjuku first.

It took some time, then we were at the new City Hall. We first went to the tourist information that is set up there, and my mum asked how she could get to Mount Fuji. She got some information about that, then we got ourselves on of the free tours of the building. It was interesting, we saw some of the rooms where the assemblies take place and in the end we went up to the observation-level where you have quite the beautiful view out on the city.

The weather was not very well, rather hazy, but still interesting. Some other things were funny as well, our guide was a woman maybe a bit younger than my mum who had lived in London for many years, and of course we talked about all different kind of things. When I mentioned that I like some japanese music, she asked a little bit further, and it turns out her daughter and an english friend of her daughter were/are Luna Sea fans XD. intersting things happen here. XD.

Then mum wanted to buy her bus-ticket to mount fuji. turns out tht was not as easy, at least finding the terminal wasn't as the weather was getting worse by the minute I was absolutely freezing by the end of it, but instead of speeding up to get somewhere warm to look at that fucking subway map, my mum HAD to do that out in the cold. -__-°°°. she finally got her ticket, and then she wanted to search for her fucking gate where the bus would leave, but for once she decided sensibly to leave it for tomorrow morning and go to the subway right away.

Then we went out to Odaiba. At Shimbashi we changed into this new train-thingy that is running several meters above the ground all the time and which has its route going over rainbow bridge. Unfortunately it started raining heavily when we finally sat down, the sight was really bad, but still it was cool. I had a good look at the Fuji-TV building (which brings up a lot of memories about Digimon *sigh*) and then we were in Odaiba.

AS it was still raining like mad we went inside on of the shopping malls there, and I bought a gorgeous cellphone-strap featuring "Kuromi" - some creature that looks like it's the evil twin of My Melody in the Sanrio universe XD. really cool. *___*

after some time we got ourselves something to eat, and at twenty past 7 we decided to go home... the weather, which had been okay some time earlier, had gotten bad again, but Odaiba at night is really cool, too, the ferris weel was illuminated in all kinds of colors, and the rainbow bridge looked beautiful.

when we were home we didn't do much more, then went to bed. Today my mum went to Mount Fuji, so I have all day to myself. gonna take a shower now and then I'll be off to buy some more T-shirts for Dida... but I'll have to do some math first, because I need to know exactly how much money I still hae for his t-shirts XD.
