So, I was in switzerland this weekend, we drove there saturday morning, it took several hours, then we finally arrived in france and went to some huge super market near the border to do some grocery-shopping there. that took... ~2 hours, then we started off to the concert hall, but we had some trouble finding our way around and so it got a little late until I finally was a the hall.
We had to find a bank as well, because I didn't want to risk it if they didn't accept any euros, and then I could finally stand around there with Kurai and the others^^ it was DAMN cold outside, but luckily it was not long until they opened the gates, I went to the box office, where I didn't get a ticket, but a punch-mark (or whatever that's calles, leo doesn't exactly help with the huge amount of words for "Stempel") and then we went inside.
We stood in the crowd somewhere around 3rd or 4th row, to the right in front of Miya, after dropping off our coats and stuff in one corner of the hall, because they didn't open the wardrobe... On the tickets the others had there was some "special guest" announced, and we were like "okay... they'll start with some weid band at 8...." and BOY were we surprised when MUCC actually came onstage at 1 or 2 minutes past 8.
The introduction-song while they came onstage was "Rave circus", the instrumental song from Gokusai, and they continued with Gokusai and Nageki no kane (if I remember correctly, at least i had the feeling they played the first three songs from Gokusai after one another in the beginning^^)
Tatsurou was wearing soome... really... weird stuff again, some black song-sleeved shirt and one of those HUGE trouser-whatever thingies, also in black, over that stuff he had some huge white t-shirt with accidentally spread grey lines on it... there are some photos up on animexx for those who want to have a closer look.
Miya wore one of his 107426760765078676 bandshirts (XD), with some weird ancient-germyn writing on it which I couldn't really read properly...
as for Yukke and Satochi I must admit that i barely saw them. Yukke was 99% of the time hidden by the heads of the two guys who stood diagonally in front of me and Satochi's drumset was so high up that I couldn't see much of him.
They played very well, Tatsurou did a LOT of gestures, which was really impressing, it gave everything even more meaning than he is already transporting through his voice and I SO wished I understood more, because I would have loved to understand which part of the lyrics he deems important enough to enfocen them with those gestures.
After the introduction with the new songs they started their usual run through all times and albums, they played bouzen jishitsu, saishuu ressha, rojiura boku to kimi e, I think only one song from 6 (kuukyo na heya? not sure though...), and some more new songs. what I found VERY impressing was the way they performed Nijuugoji no yuu-utsu, I didn't really like the song when I heard it on the Album, but live there was a lot more POWER in that song. they performed it in a really gripping way, I was realy like "whoa....."
Tatsurou also practiced some of his german again... really cute was the first time he wanted to say something he was like *stands there, mic in hand* *thinks* .... "matte yo..." *thinks more* *and more* *and MORE* *starts talking in english* XD
The other very cool things was just before they played Utagoe... Tatsurou was like "are you ready to dance? are you ready to dance? Dann lasst uns tanzen!" (The last sentence means "let's dance" in german^^) It was really great, especially considering Utagoe really is a song that makes you wanna dance^^
the audience went along with most of these things with a huge amount of humour, it was a really enjoyable experience (especially after the AWFUL crowd in berlin with kagerou... mucc just get the best crowds XD).
After the main set, in which they also played 2 songs I didn't know (again! damn them!!!!) and the new single, LIBRA, they disappeared. I was sweating like crazy, I wore a long sleeved shirt and over that one the tourshirt from last year and it was so hot >.> First I was screaming with the others for the encore, but when it took a little bit longer I made a quick dash for the restrooms to get rid of the longsleeved shirt. Just as I was out of the two shirts I heard the screaming outside and knew that they were back onstage, but I still took the time to drink some water.
Then they started the encore, with a song that was absolutely unfamiliar to me... no clue. then Tatsurou was like "do you want more? do you want MORE? DO YOU WANT MORE???!!!" and they played DAIKIRAI. after the 3rd song of the encore they left again.
again screaming, the people around me were like "how can you have so much voice after singing along AND screaming so much for the first encore!!!???" and after a few minutes they came back to play one last song... which was YASASHII UTA.
the ABSOLUTELY BEST SONG you can play at the end of a concert.
just before that there were some more funny scenes, like some uke-badgering, where Yukke got a load of water on his shirt by tatsurou.... the crowd was laughing and Yukke had this shocked-betrayed gaze, first at tatsurou and then at the crowd XD.
Wer den Schaden hat braucht für den Spott nicht zu sorgen... (Who has the damage doesn't need to take care of the mockery... it's a germany saying XD)
Poor Uke. XD
Well, it was really cool and with alle the lalala at the end of yasashii uta which threy dragged on for several more minutes it was really cute and a great interaction with the audience.
After that the concert was really over, and we went to grab our bags and coats. Kurai and her sister got some stuff from the merchandise, then we left the hall.
I had to wait some time for my mum, and we still took Kurai and her sister to the station in Pratteln, so they actually still got their train, then we went to the hotel.
Overall the concert was really awesome, the crowd was enthusiastic, but not annoyingly so, I would actually have liked a moshpit for a few songs, but there was none and the people around me already started to stay away from me after some time... XD. Mucc had a lot of power again, thoug I wonder if it's really true that Tatsurou fell down after the Saarbrücken concert and (as the rumour goes) had to have a wound sewn... if he did, it didn't really affect his show in Pratteln.
Sunday morning we got up and had a walk around Basel, then we drove home again. which was a bit stressful in the beginning, because for the LIFE of it, we couldn't find a gas station that would acceppt either Euro-cash or my mother's credit cards... but after some annoyance we found one and then we were on our way back home.
I drove some 150 km of the way, but I was really tired (time settings changed this weekend... summer time again >.< ) and I couldn't concentrate well, and my neck hurt... which I couldn't say, of course, because my mum would have gone on endlessly about how bad headbanging is... T^T
well. we got home in the evening, had some wonderful fish, and I got into bed much too late again...
and in order to avoid that happening today as well, i'll go to bed now.. I'm terribly tired >.<
Oh, and as a last note... Cherry Trees PV is up for download on jpopsuki, it's really cool... *___*
Good Night! Aza^^
