NDK 2013
Sometimes I forget I have a livejournal....lol!!! Because I update in just about every other area of my life but livejournal?? Nope. XD
Anyways, flash floods in Colorado all month long!!! First we're on fire, then we're underwater. Mother Nature hates our state.
Cathy and I left Colorado Springs Thursday afternoon and it was POURING!! They told us "There is a slight chance of rain"....haa haa we almost died this weekend.
That's ma badge!!
Holy crap my Mii Plaza total skyrocketed this weekend. Every ten seconds I was being Street Passed. Ah I got so many puzzle pieces...
This was one of my favorite pictures. So many people kept asking our Levi (she was rooming with us) to kick them in the face. XDDD
This is Cherami Leigh and Bryce Papenbrook. Cherami...unfortunately plays a lot of characters that I hate, but she is so sweet!!! And Bryce was the main reason I went to NDK. He voices Jack in an old PS2 game called Radiata Stories, which was fabulous. I highly recommend Tales fans to play this game. Plus, Bryce is the voice actor for one of my favorite Fire Emblem characters, Henry. HENRY!!!!! The autograph line allows only one signature so I told Bryce to sign Radiata for my brother Davis, but I wanted him to know that I really, really loved Henry (I had been saying "I'm gonna kill you!" all weekend long) and was so glad to meet him. He was so flustered by my love he said Screw what the staff says, let me see your 3DS box. AND HE SIGNED THAT FOR ME, AHHHHHHHHHH
Another voice actor that I got to meet (again) and fangirl over was Todd Haberkorn. He played Morgan in Fire Emblem Awakening but I was only allowed one signature and my friend Ashley is a HUGE HUGE fan of Allen Walker, who he voices...so I got that signed for her.
Patrick Seitz did another anime commentary. Last year was Monster, this year was Tiger and Bunny. I haven't seen Tiger and Bunny, and from the showing I don't think I will, but it looks like a great concept series. I was just too busy laughing over Patrick Seitz making fun of the show. Got to meet Patrick on Sunday and he also signed Fire Emblem Awakening for me.
I couldn't get over his obnoxious sombrero...it was just too fucking funny.
Chris Patton also came back, even though we were told two years ago he wasn't going to conventions anymore. EVERY year I've been to NDK I haven't had the chance to meet him. He's just that big a deal. When I found out they were doing an English dub of Special A, I watched the first episode and discovered he was Ryu....If you love this show, don't want it in English. You will cry...but I was still excited to meet Chris!! When I asked him to sign my S.A cover he told me I was the very first person to have him sign something S.A!!!! I was like YES I FEEL AWESOME!!
