I broke up with Joe and he moved out this weekend. That has been a difficult change, but now I'm actually happy about it. I love having the house to myself. I've got Lola to cuddle with and everything is all right. I have wonderful friends and a good job. Things will be okay.
I've also decided that after I graduate from Delta, in a couple months, I am going to move to Florida. I've never really wanted to live in Florida, but I'm going to use it as a stepping stone to leave Michigan. Mom doesn't plan on living in Florida forever so everything will work out great. I want to take my Leslie with me, but love might hold her here. That's not a bad thing either though, true looooove.
I'm confident there is a guy out there for me. Joe just wasn't the right one. I want an intelligent, charismatic, good sense of humor guy. I won't find him in Michigan, that's for sure. So I'll head down to the sunshine and warmth in a couple months. Lola will love it :)
