I wonder why people find it so hard to accept their own mistakes, be a man, and face the consequences of their actions...
Get real, people. Nobody's perfect. Not me, not my family, my friends, and i'm sure, especially not you. Don't take it the wrong way, but it's true right? Nobody's perfect. If we're perfect then we're already God, which we definitely aren't. Heck, even those from the religious organizations make mistake. I'm definitely sure that even the pope has a share of his own mistakes (and yes, I am a Catholic). Come on, we're human. Lighten up. We were born imperfect and these makes us humans.
I don't really get why people take it so hard on themselves when they make mistakes. I have a tendency to be a perfectionist too but when I fail, I'd like to think of it as a lesson.
Just a little piece of advice from me...
1. Sulk. Let it all out. We're human and when we fail, we definitely feel bad. Cry if you can. Just let it all out.
2. Pray. Ask for guidance. If not, meditate. Think back as to why you failed and remember it. Learn from your mistakes so that the next time you encounter it, you're better and prepared for it.
3. Let go of all the heavy feeling of failure. Move on with your life. Don't well on the "I should have" and all the regret. Let go. Move on. Continue on living your life.
Remember, you've only got one life to live, so live it to the fullest. :D
