Love it, love it, love it! I'm so glad you had a post where both of them could go to Aule. How perfect! Now Gimli's life dreams, both spoken and unspoken, will be complete. You rock!

The Let Gimli Meet Aule contingent was getting so vocal that I thought it was the least I could do ;-) and I was a bit stuck for anything else to do with the prompt! Need to catch up now - while getting behind was entirely due to overmuch RL, it does have the sneaky advantage that I can see a few prompts at once and plan a little better...

I think it was important to have Gimli meet Aule. But I also think it was equally important for Aule to meet Gimli. He has been separated from his creation for Ages, and to have one of them come back to his hearth must be an emotional high point for him, even if he is Vala and supposedly above such things :-)
