As previously predicted, it didn't take long before the protagonists of Amid the Powers and Chances of the World badgered me into writing them again...
So there's a new overall story up on HASA, called Ithilien Tales, into which vignettes or ficlets will get posted as chapters as and when they occur to me. And yes, there is a three-thousand-word tale up there to get started... called A NIght in Emyn Arnen, carrying on more or less directly after the penultimate chapter of Powers, and definitely for those who felt that that chapter just didn't go quite far enough...
